Yasmin Hurst

Yasmin joined Cheeky Monkey in 2006 and has to date worked on a number of projects on behalf of the PZ Cussons Group. The team would say she is organised, leaving no stone unturned when it comes to planning and monitoring a project and is a firm believer in the old adage “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.”

Yasmin is Prince2 accredited; her working style is guided by the principles of Prince2 in conjunction with the way of the monkey 5 stage process:

Image of Yamin at a window Yasmin began her working life at Coultaulds Textiles where she worked within the Supply Chain team delivering the famous Christy towel brand to their biggest customer, John Lewis. It didn’t take long for her natural eye for detail to lead her to production planning where she took sole responsibility for planning weekly production.

Her role in production planning gave her an insight into procurement and it is this path that her career followed.

After working within the Coultaulds procurement team for two years and studying for a CIPS qualification Yasmin moved on to Chemix Plc as Purchasing Manager. Chemix Plc is a PVC manufacturer for the UPVC window market.

The role of Category Manager in the central purchasing team for Hays Distribution followed where Yasmin had the opportunity to work on a number of key projects which included:
