Dani Maxton

Dani joined Cheeky Monkey at the beginning of 2009 and is currently working as Project Manager on a global PLM implementation project. The team would say she is 100% fearless, be it on the ski slopes, riding a horse, doing a skydive or focusing on business change for the better and the bottom line!

Dani started her working life at the Lowry Hotel as it opened its doors putting to use her degree in business and hospitality management. She began in an administrative role but soon realised that her outgoing nature and her ability to communicate at all levels were perfect attributes for a career in sales, and it was this path that her career followed with the Lowry. An exciting HR opportunity followed, working for Sodexo Catering Company on behalf of the Commonwealth Games – and then it all turned a shade of red.

Manchester who?

Manchester United Football Club lured Dani into a sales project role. As a Cheeky Monkey, this is where it all went wrong for Dani as she continues to believe that the reds are the best football club in the world... Don't let this put you off! At United, Dani undertook many strategic projects, including streamlining a workforce, introducing a software solution, and coordinating the sales and operation for the Champions League Final hospitality.

While working at United, Dani was approached to join the pre-opening team for Manchester's first 5-star hotel, the Radisson Edwardian. She was keen to take up the challenge and spent 2 years on the successful project.
