I'm a follower and don't often comment. Probably because i find the blog content something to be considered and mulled over (a compliment). Then the phone rings or something urgent distracts me. perhaps there's something of the meerkat in me too!

Hi Niyi

Not sure if Meerkats are friends with Monkeys, I do know that both species learn by example so thank you for setting one for our other readers.

Keep in touch, we would love you to unlock the cupboard that holds your view on "honesty".

Hmmmn...Can you manufacture 'Popularity', seems like a good topic. methinks, you can not only manufacture popularity but you can also manipulate it within the confines of any given societal structure(This is why i don't like blogging, you end up like a maniacal meercat intent on world domination, simples!)
Truth is i am reading the blogs and its on my favorites list...unfortunately never always put anything down because its always easier reading other peoples views and perceptions about an issue.
No more....since the monkey train is now on honesty lane(nice limerick, sweet!)expect more from this meerkat

P.S. Just a thought, are meerkats friends with monkeys and yeah, loved last week's Honesty bit, my view on it was too scary to me so i locked it in a cupboard and swallowed the key.

Thanks for the link :)

I've been reading so far, but I'll take this as a nudge to stop lurking and start participating. To (briefly) put my tweet into context, I was referring to viral marketing and how it's a term that always makes me uneasy. You can create something, but to define it as "viral" is to presume that you can manufacture popularity.

If that was possible, every film would be a blockbuster, every book a bestseller etc...

I worry sometimes that I'm a bit too outspoken and honest on my blog etc and that I could suffer for it somehow one day, but I wouldn't know how to be anything else. I'm happy that you monkeys feel the same way and (even if some of what you say goes over my head) I'll carry on reading!
